Today the 44th president of the United States was sworn in. I don't need to tell you why this is historic. In a past post I said that I was too young to truly appreciate Nelson Mandela becoming the first democratically elected president of SA. Now that I am old enough to understand the significance of Obama becoming president I'm a little overwhelmed.
The whole world knows that things are not going to be easy for Obama, no one said it was going to be. I wish him and the American people lots of luck.
We are going to be voting soon and I can't help but wonder what the future holds for South Africa...
