Wise words

People are always ready to admit a mans ability after he gets there
Bob Edwards

Funny that! While you are working hard at achieving your dreams almost everybody doubts you and some even ridicule you. I've heard some of these quite often:
'get your head out of the clouds'
'nobody has ever done that before'
'things like that don't happen to normal people like us'
'stop dreaming'
'nice dream, but you have to face reality'
'who do you think you are?'
and my most favourite "don't forget who you are and that this is South Africa', apparently dreams don't come true for South Africans, only for the lucky people who happened to be born outside of Africa LOL!

And once you have achieved what you set out to achieve (and are moving along quite successfully) everyone suddenly agrees that you are the best. This is why i am not looking for any ones approval while I'm working at fulfilling my destiny and making my dreams come true, because people only believe once they've seen you do it.

I guess this is where most of us go wrong: looking for someone to agree with us and let us know we are on the right path. I say go with the 'madness' of your passion and dream and you'll be so much more satisfied when all the 'sane' people who dare not to dream look to a mad man (you) for inspiration and sing your praises. There is nothing IMPOSSIBLE about your dreams, so just go for it one step at a time! Hooweee I'm feeling so inspired this morning :)

The Creator has not given you a longing to do that which you have no ability to do
Orison Swett Marden

Don't let the fear or the doubt stop you either, they are a very necessary part of the process, because on the other side of fear and doubt is some of your most amazing work yet!

We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face ... we must do that which we think we cannot. Eleanor Roosevelt
