Time flies

Oh how time flies when there are deadlines to be met and gigs to be booked. So I'm just gonna give you the long and short of what I've been up to. I've been...

Admiring Crisvector's AMAZING stuff. My little brother & Marcee were hooked and so I decided to check it out... NICE!!! Below are some of my faves.

Listened to Fat Freddys drop. Needless to say that was the work of my little brother as well. I would be so old and boring if it wasn't for him :) It's easy listening and it makes me think of sipping cocktails on a sunny Friday afternoon, just before we go party the night away. Aaah will Summer EVER get here?

Went on a team building get away for day job last weekend. That was fun! Magaliesberg was so nice and hot and then I got back to a wet and cold Cape Town SMH. I took my camera with me and took no pics- typical!

Marcee put together an amazing band and we found rehearsal space, now she is working on finding the perfect time for everyone to get together and rehearse as well as booking gigs.

Made my big brother listen to Tidal Waves latest album (Afrika), these guys are amazing. I saw them at Zula 2 weeks ago and they are also incredibly sweet, so I am a HUGE fan. I spoke to Jacob a.k.a Zakes after their performance and he was telling me how weird it is that when they perform overseas the people love them, but here in SA promoters hardly know who they are. Somethings got to change...

I also did a little bit of soul searching.. And came to the following conclusion.

All great achievements require time.
Maya Angelou

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.

Thank God for Maya Angelou!!!!

The weeks that WERE

I have been out of action for a good reason: ILLNESS!! It seems I have not been able to avoid being sick. So I did one of the most difficult things I have ever done this year: RESTED!!! I had to not only rest my body, but my mind. There has been some really crazy stuff happening in my life.

But there were some really great things as well:
Went to Bridget's house warming
Bridget- not really keen on having her picture taken
Junior
Marcee
Then went to the 340ml album launch gig at The Assembly. Bought 2 copies of the CD (Sorry for the delay)... Junior LOVES it!!!

The next day I woke up with NO VOICE!!!

But my friend AK was in town, so I went and had a quick lunch with her and Marcee. I thought I would be out of action for a day. But then I REALLY GOT SICK. I missed three days of work, which is not great because I'm a freelancer.
To be continued...

The week that was

I have been very bad at this posting game, but please allow me to explain why:

1. The wife and I are moving out of our tiny flat and there is a LOT OF CRAP that we need to get rid of. It's funny how we hang on to meaningless shit to fill the spaces in our homes. I feel like a mini hoarder. We want our new home not to be filled with useless stuff.

2. I took my braids out... WHAT A JOB! It'll take me a while before I get braids again. My hair was all knotted and gross. LOL!

3. I CUT MY HAIR!!!! Oh my goodness, what an experience. Me cutting my hair is my moms WORST nightmare. She has this idea of me being a 'perfect girl': with long neat hair, great figure who stays home with her parents until she gets married LMAO. Sorry ma you GOT ME LOL!! I initially thought I would be sad but I actually feel good. I will post a pic of my new hair as soon as I can.

4. Watched Wanted last night... I know, I know it's late, but I don't get out much. It was cool, really cool. James McAvoy even managed to look hot a few times. It was another one of those movies that made my inner little boy smile broadly and say 'LET'S DO THAT AGAIN'!
I particularly enjoyed the end when 'Wesley' says "This is me taking back control of my life. What the fuck have you done lately?"

5. FINISHED all my work on GREEN (the EP) and I'm ready to write more stuff. I listened to it and it was pretty cool. I feel like I've grown musically already. I'm almost ready to release my 'warm up project'. GREEN by BLACK PORCELAIN COMING SOON!

6. I laughed hard at bad album covers over at ATCN. Below are just a few that had Marcee and I REALLY enjoyed!

They aren't bad, but they are pretty awkward!

The week that was

So what happened last week?

1. Started getting rid of the ‘clutter’ in my small apartment

2. Watched Death Proof on Friday evening and I think Stuntman Mike is HILARIOUS. The movie was kind of pointless, but it was just long enough to keep me watching. Said like a true Tarantino fan.

3. Also watched ‘Michael Clayton’, it was a little dry but I enjoyed it. I then discovered that George Clooney may very well be what Bruce Willis is to Marcee the pervert: an older man who I might consider giving up the joys of being with a young man for. Although there are some hot young men that might beat ol’ George to a lifetime of bliss with me.

4. Went out on Saturday night, saw a great band (see previous post) and got home at 4am. I think Mike from YourLMG might be a bad influence on me… Keeping me out so late LOL!

5. Took my little brother to his house on Sunday evening in the worst fog I had ever driven in. I was so scared I wanted to pull over to the side of the road and cry before I could proceed again. But my inner gangster told me to just keep going slowly and everything would be fine. Thanks inner-G!
6. Fell in love with Lil Wayne’s ‘Mr Carter’… It took me completely by surprise.

7. Marcee and I gave away 3 black bags of clothes to a shelter and some magazines that helped us through the hard times (financially, spiritually and fashion-wise)

8. I learnt that you cannot always please everyone. When we were dropping off the clothes at the shelter there was a homeless woman sitting outside yelling at me. She was of the opinion that she deserved the clothes more than the people at the shelter. Giving to those who needed those clothes more than us made me feel good none the less.

9. We watched Kung Fu Panda (AGAIN) and we agree that Grand Master Oogway is the ultimate MASTER! He might even be wiser than Master Yoda LOL!!!!

Favourite line from Kung Fu Panda:
“There is no charge for awesomeness or attractiveness”... THAT IS HAWT!!!

The week that was

I know I have been bad at doing these weekly updates, but I've had the week from HELL!!!

  1. Spent some time at the World Economic Forum helping out some colleagues. No I am not one of those high-up-let's-fix-the-world types. Our station was doing a broadcast from there.

  2. I did 2 airport runs in 2 days, which was lost of fun- NOT!!

  3. First airport run was to fetch little brother a.k.a Myspace man. He is back and demanding a whole lot of ish from me. I'm actually about to leave now and buy him groceries. He is apparently STARVING!! Whatever!!

  4. Second airport run- Marcee who spent a day in Jhb doing whatever it is that she does during the day.

  5. Got the John Legend 'love in Philadelphia' DVD almost a week ago. Good times!!

  6. Had a sore throat for a few days, so cancelled one of my recoding with C.B, but we still got some work, just no recording. We worked on 'Lovelies'.

  7. Photo shoot moved to next week... Might be on Friday, not sure yet! beautiful photographer was busy with another pretty talented musician.

  8. Sent an email to a potential editor for the novel. It's actually happening!!! Yay! She said she was interested and we are now communicating via email. I'll let you know what happens as it happens.

  9. Finally got around to getting material for a promo for the Midnight Xpress: midnight to 3am on weekdays, only on Radio 2000 (shameless advertising).

  10. Marcee and I painted the wall in our mansion a.k.a lesbian lovepad. No we are not lesbians, but that is what people think because we have been living in this tiny flat for 2.5 yrs. We are moving out and also looking at dating. It would be a little awkward to bring a guy home and the say 'Ey yo Marc, could you skoot over so that this here young man can fit in?" LOL!

  11. Saw Chris Rock... On TV because I took my own sweet time getting tickets.

  12. To console myself I watched Katt Williams Pimp Chronicles 1 and America Hustle the movie. I prefer the first but I still think that he is a funny guy. I LIKE HIM!!

  13. Went to go see Prince Caspian yesterday. Uhmm... I think I really liked it :) It was better than the first one, but this is the last time that we see good ol' Suzan and Peter.

The week that was

This week has been full of ACTION (not that kind, get your mind out of the gutter).

  1. Put down vocals for the Teacup song, putting down some final extras next week on Wednesday. EXCITING!!

  2. Finally FINISHED that song about a guy LOL!! It took forever to find the perfect 'middle part' for the song. I'm trying to organise a recording at a nice place with great acoustics- I'm freaking out because it's all coming together AAAAAHHH!!

  3. Worked out even though I was supposed to be taking it easy. I must be addicted to hearing Billy Blanks telling me to SQUEEEZE my ba-dacks!! I'm really getting into this exercise thing, it's fun.

  4. Met up with a friend from Jozi on Saturday. What was originally supposed to be a quick drink with the girls turned into a LATE NIGHT after lots of and lots of wine and catching up. A good time was had by all :)

  5. I interviewed Aya and she was just delightful. Very bubbly and VERY VERY positive, she is this weeks 5-in-1 (5 questions, one person in 1 week) for the radio show.

  6. I picked up my guitar and started working at it again. I bought this damn guitar and I've been neglecting it for months. I decided I'm going to get myself through the 'guitar-101-for-complete-effing-idiots' book that I bought with it. once I have gotten through the book I will take guitar lessons. I didn't have the opportunity to learn how to play any instruments when I was younger so I'm making up for lost time.

  7. My fridge was smelling funny, so I decided to take everything out an clean it. There were 2 items, I cannot for the life of me make out what thy used to be, that were STINKING up my fridge. I should have sent the specimens to the folks over at Fear Factor LMAO!!

  8. Started looking for outfits for the photo shoot: for the cover of the EP.

That's it!!!

The week that was

After 2 days of work, for some people, it's back to work for most of you. I work through public holidays, so there is no excitement for me. The only exciting thing about public holidays is that I get to spend more time with MARCEE!!

  1. We went to the spa (Elixir) on Thursday for one of the long wknd special: full body massage, facial and mini reflexology. It was DIVINE!! I have since decided to have a massage and facial once every month. It's great to be young and single LOL!!!
  2. EP is back on track (see post below).
  3. SAMA's came and went and HHP took home two (Best Hip Hop album & Best male solo artist)... It's been a long time coming Jabba.
  4. We FINALLY finished the constitution for our NPO, we're sending it off by the end of this week.
  5. Went to go see 'Street Kings'. Keanu Reeves was surprisingly un-Neo-like, Forest Whitaker was great and Common and Cedric 'The entertainer' were in the movie as well. Junior and Marcee were so skeptical; Junior wanted to watch Iron man and Marcee was sitting in the fence (Traitor!).
  6. 2 weeks ago we went to dinner with an ex-colleague of ours at Madame Zingaras in Century City (got one or two photos, will post later).
  7. Still doing TaeBo and skipping (for 15 minutes 3 times a week)... I love TaeBo because Billy Blanks is so animated. Gotta love it when he says 'Squeeze your ba-da-cks (buttocks)! Learn something about yourself!" LOL! I can't work out in front of other people, so I work out to my TaeBo DVD in my little apartment :)
  8. My little brother is in Jozi for a month to re-write his Maths exams, oh I miss the messy little bugger!
  9. Am working hard at my first novel too. It's becoming less dark, but still no Bridget Jones story :). I'm hoping that I will be done before the year ends. You could actually be reading it at around Christmas time...
  10. I've made a COMMITMENT to LIVE CREATIVELY because that is when I'm happiest, when I'm being creative and I intend to make money living creatively :0)

That's it!

The week that was

I haven't done this in a while, but here goes:

  1. Met up with producer C.B and we now officially have 4 concept tracks and I'm working my ample behind to get it all sounding GREAT! The Teacup song now has lyrics- I like them and so does producer guy.

  2. Marcee and I had the most AMAZING weekend. On Friday she went and got her 'hur did' and now she look SUPER-fantabulous. Had drinks with a friend at Balduccis at the V&A Waterfront. Marcee had the BESTEST lamb burger there. She couldn't stop raving about it. I had a Salmon and Asparagus salad (I did say I was gonna try new things), it wasn't too bad. We went shopping at *Canal Walk on Saturday and Marcee went CRAZEEE: New sneakers/takkies, new boots (They are KILLER), sunglasses, yoga mat and socks. Got home really late and then I made Lamb stew- yummy!

  3. The reason for yoga mats, takkies/sneakers (and socks) is because we've started a very fun exercise routine: TaeBo (we've had the DVD for about a year and never really used it), skipping, power walks on the promenade and GOOD HEALTHY food. Wish us luck! We've been doing it for a week now. YAY!!!

  4. Watched 'In her shoes' and 'Before the devil knows you're dead' and enjoyed them both, surprisingly. I saw Ethan Hawke in a new light.

  5. Today I listened to Stephen Marley's 'Mind Control'. It still sounds as good as it did when I first bought it 4 months ago. I should put it back in my car :)

  6. I found a photographer who is willing to do the photos for my sleeve, let's hope I look SMOKIN' LOL!!!

That's all I can think of, but it's been a pretty good week and I'm feeling good.

*I drove to Canal Walk for the first time this weekend and I'm A VERY NERVOUS driver, but I didn't freak out at all. I didn't even know how to get back to CT from there and we left AFTER the sun had gone down. I am so PROUD of myself.

EDITED TO ADD:

How can I forget that I had tea with my buddy Bridget. It was fun to get out during the week. She inspired me to keep my writing my 'labour of love' (first novel). I LOVE having creative people in my life. It makes me feel sane.

The week that was

I was very productive this week:

  1. Did much needed work on the 1st track for EP (see post below).
  2. Little brother moved out and into the place he has been waiting for. I dropped him off this afternoon and I miss him already... This too shall come to pass LOL!
  3. Went to Cavendish (mall in Claremont) for the first time in AGES... very uneventful.
  4. Did a whole lot writing- the book is also coming along nicely. I am starting to see the WHOLE story, as opposed to a bunch of characters taking me through the motions.
  5. Went to Spur on Saturday night and they had a... (wait for it) 'waiting list'. ha ha ha ha. Hilarious! We sat in a room near the hotel and waited for people to leave. it was full of parents and their kiddies, most of whom were celebrating their birthdays- never wanna hear the happy birthday song (Spur style) for a long time.
  6. Practised piano and guitar for an hour- just did that for 4 days instead of 5... SUE ME!!
  7. I tried something new and took a different route while driving. I'm SOOO TERRIFIED of getting lost that I NEVER want to different routes. Yay me!!!
  8. Got 2 days off from day job, because of the cricket. SCORE!
  9. Had my second last Saturday morning show- oh how I will miss waking up at ungodly hours to make my 6-9 (am) radio show.
  10. Decided not to let the negative things around me bother me so much. I tend to give those things WAY too much power. I've been doing it for a week and it has made a major difference.
  11. I have meditated every night except on Saturday, because I fell into a Spur-food induced coma LOL!
  12. I'M GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE!!!

Sunday, March 9, 2008

The week that was

This week went by pretty quickly and I managed to get quite a bit done as well.

  1. Have been doing an hour of guitar + an hour of piano each day- YAY!!!
  2. Didn't do guitar or piano this wknd though (brain needs a rest).
  3. Had Sushi last night.
  4. I am besotted with a song on Common's 'Electric Circus'. The song is called Electric Wire Hustler Flower. Not sure why, but it makes me wanna put my headphones on and take a walk on the promenade and just be alone with my thoughts.
  5. Said for the first time on air that the Saturday show will be no longer at the end of the month. I'm a little sad, but also relieved because I can actually say it now.

  6. Saw a movie on Saturday: Jumper... Uhmm the 'effects' were spot on, the story line needed a little more work and that is where the movie failed me. It seemed like a rehearsal for the real movie. Even Marcee wasn't impressed and she isn't even that critical of movies.

  7. Started writing a new song and it's coming along very nicely. I'm thinking of adding a little bit of 'hip hop' to this one... I can't really explain it. I guess you'll have to wait till May.

  8. You will notice that I have committed to a release month - MAY. I'm not sure on what day though. I will only know that in April :)

  9. I finished Suze Orman's book (Women and Money) it was very interesting and it made me look at my relationship with money. I am already working on saving myself and my money ha ha ha ha. Will let you know how that is going. I had already started saving, but now I am more informed ;)
  10. Marcee was a sickling this week. Dr booked her off for 3 days, but she is much better now. I don't know how many times I told her to go and see a Dr, but NOOOOOOO!!! She never listens to me.
  11. Interviewed HHP on Saturday morning show. WHAT A LOVELY GUY!!!! He make you wish the interview would never end. I respect how real he is too ;)

The week that was

I have been MIA again... There has been lots happening and I was also ill during the wknd.

  1. Met up with C.B (producer) and that first track is sounding very nice, a lot more 'old school' than I anticipated, but nice.
  2. Finished reading a very interesting book Capitalist N*#$er. WOW! I enjoyed most of it, it was a real eye opener. Definitely changed the way i look at the world and myself. WOW!!I just couldn't put it down.
  3. Little brother is still alive and has to stay in my TINY apartment, for another month till res opens up. The reason i say he is still alive is because he does things that I simply don't allow in my small space. Initially I was being a good host, but I'm slowly morphing into INSANE BIG SISTER.
  4. Missed another one of Bridget's get together's. She's going to start thinking that I am avoiding her, when really the last 3 wknds have been intense: emotionally, physically and mentally.
  5. I got my finances in order- started reading Suze Orman's book (Women and money). Funny, she was on Oprah this afternoon, talking about the same book. NICE!
  6. I started eating junk again and then stopped. I really am addicted to the 'bad stuff', but I am learning how to practise self control.
  7. I ordered something from Mr Delivery and they didn't DELIVER!! Perhaps the name was a little misleading. I assumed that they would ACTUALLY DELIVER the food that I had ordered. Funny that!
  8. have resumed my guitar lessons- with me, the book and the DVD and so far so good. Fingers are a little sore again, but not enough for me to stop. Music gives me way too much joy?
  9. Oh... I broke one of the strings on my guitar and then had to walk to music store (which isn't far from home) because car was in for service. String wasn't expensive, but the tuner (that I had not planned on buying) was. DAMMIT! It does help a LOT though ;)
  10. Plans for NPO are coming along nicely, worked a lot on that. It will be registered by the end of this month.
  11. Paid a traffic fine today and it felt PRETTY DAMN GOOD.
  12. Took the car in for annual service. I can't believe I've had my little Jazz for more than a year now. She is so good to me, that when the car payments are taken from my account I don't even complain. Having a car has made a HUGE difference in my life.
  13. Marcee passed her LEARNERS... it's still a big deal for us :)

That's it!!!

Sunday, February 17, 2008

The week that was

I just took an hour long soak in the bath while reading a book about financial success and the beliefs some people have about wealth. INteresting stuff!! I'm learning so much about some of the things that get in the way of better 'money management'.
So this week was very interesting:
  1. Had a great Valentines day.

  2. I started exercising... YAY!!!

  3. My little brother being here is fun and he is encouraging Marcee and I to exercise.

  4. Finally got a name for the book that I'm working on (will tell you more about it when I have more time).

  5. Cried my little heart out on Saturday afternoon at News Cafe. I had been feeling down, instead of dealing with it bottled it up inside. The sadness became too much and I EXPLODED... Haven't cried like that in ages. It did me lots of good.

  6. Started watching Season 2 of Heroes... Hmmm... Me Likey!

  7. Saw Kanye West's video for Flashing Lights. Uhmmm not so impressed with the half naked woman... I wanted more from the video, so I'm hoping Kanye has an Ace up his sleeve.

  8. The NPO is starting to 'come alive'. Will tell you more about it, when I have time. PROMISE.

  9. Missed my friend Bridget's tea party... Bummer. As I was on my way to make a late appearance she said things were winding down anyway. Just as well though because I was in a bit of a mood (due to bottled up sadness and 20 minutes after I made the u-turn I had my public cry at News Cafe).

  10. Watched a rather bad and morbid movie called Jekyll + Hyde, starring Bryan Fisher. It was incredibly painful for me to watch, but Junior didn't seem to mind it. Wow... It was bad. Note to self: do not let little brother go and hire movies by himself :)

  11. Found a new 'little spot' to go and have food at down the road. The vibe is not bad. It's called Fiesta. Cocktails were terrible though, so we will have to stick t drinking wine when we go there. Their Marguerita was sweet... DON'T ASK!!

  12. Actress Ashley Callie passed away on Friday, from head injuries sustained after a head on collision with another car. I really did think she was a good actress. At least she lived doing what she wanted. Which is more than most people are doing. Somehow people have made it okay to live a life that is much less than what they want.

That's all folks!

Sunday, January 27, 2008

The week that was...

Wow!! I have not posted anything up here this whole week. Bummer! Well, before we go into the new week, let's take a look at what kept me busy THIS week.
  1. A very good friend from Jozi came down here with his girlfriend and we all met up for drinks- YAY!!!
  2. Got together with an old colleague/friend (and a friend of hers) on Tuesday night. We went to the Nose Bar and stayed for longer than we anticipated.
  3. Heath Ledger bowed out gracefully. He was 28 and he had been living his life the way he wanted to for a LOONG time. Some people are mot meant to live for a long time. he fulfilled his destiny and 'changed form'. No-one ever really dies, we all change form and leave our mark on mankind... What kind of mark will you leave and will it be for eternity?
  4. I cleaned out all Marcee and my old clothes, put them in black bag and now we are trying to decided on which women's shelter/ homeless shelter we are going to deliver it to. The reason I cleaned out our cupboards is because in order for new things to come in old things must go out. I was making way for new wardrobe and new beginnings. Sounds weird, but this is what I believe :)
  5. Been listening to Alicia Keys ALL week, I must actually physically HIDE that CD!!
  6. Track of the week: American boy by Estelle AND 'Don't let me be misunderstood' by Nina Simone.
  7. Julio Iglesias was in Cape Town and I hear he was good... Cheesy, but GREAT!! Julio is one of the OG playas. I dig some of his songs.
  8. Although the rest of the country was experiencing darkness, I have not experienced a blackout at home, had one on Thursday at work. But, I left and worked from home.
  9. I had Sushi today... Can you say addiction?
  10. My friend Nixy Poo finally heard me on radio. It was on Saturday and during my show I get this SMS saying 'you are on my radio". Ha ha haha. It was hilarious!! I LOVE YOU NIX.
  11. Saw a John Mayer concert on TV yesterday. My not-so-little brother called me and said 'John Mayer. SABC 3" and then he hung up. Oh the joys of being young and trying to save pre-paid airtime.
  12. One of the 'senior' ( I use that word very carelessly) guys at work was ANNOYING me like you wont believe this week. I thought I was going to scream. In fact I think I did... A couple of times.
  13. I spent ALL of Saturday at home, reflecting... Saturdays are usually very busy for me. I stayed home.
  14. Did some catching up on CSI Las Vegas... Shoo things are really getting hectic at the crime lab.
  15. I ate healthy food all of this week. And let me just say for the record that I AM REGULAR!!! Oprah and Dr Oz talk about it all the time. I am regular and feeling light as a feather. Wow! I've reached a disturbing level of comfort here on this Internet place. I am now talking about my bowel movements. I PROMISE NEVER to talk about it again. LMAO.
  16. Went to a farewell on Friday night... I've become quite the socialite. I HARDLY EVER go out and this week I went out 4 times and stayed out VERY late each time. Note: 22h00 is late for me :)
  17. I start working on my music with Chris next week. it's taken a bit of time, but I had to make sure NOTHING disturbs us. So I needed to sort myself out. Am now officially SORTED OUT!!

That's about it. I am going to try and sleep early and wake up early next week. So, sleeping early means BEFORE 22h00 and waking up early means at 05h00... I will let you know how it goes.

P.S I have not forgotten about the announcement :)

The week that was...

The weekly round up:

  1. The song of the week: Champion by Kanye West
  2. Ate so much healthy food it's actually ridiculous... YAY ME!!! Just had Carrot and Apple juice (with ginger). I deserve a gold star!
  3. Bought 3 books: '1. 'The colour purple' I read it in high school and I'm still so in love with it. The movie was okay, but I LOVE the book. It was that book that made me want to become a writer. 2. 'Call me woman' by Ellen Khuzwayo, I have been meaning to get this book for a LOONG time. 3. 'Song of Solomon', I absolutely ADORE Toni Morrison. I read the book when I was at varsity, but something made me buy it.
  4. Watched a HORRIBLE movie called 'Vacancy' starring Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson. It is such a bad idea and I felt like it was PURE evil. I have watched many slasher films, but this movie just didn't feel right. I actually fast forwarded most of the movie. EEEWWW!!
  5. Read an article where Lupe Fiasco was talking about retiring. The whole interview sounded a little angry though. Maybe he will reconsider?! I still love his music, esp this one.
  6. Been practising piano all week :)
  7. Been visiting Kanye's blog more often... Don't ask why, because I'm not sure why either :)
  8. Power cuts have been driving people crazy... THANKS ESKOM!!!
  9. Elton John performed in Cape Town... I didn't go, but I hear it was amazing.
  10. Have fallen back in love with Common's 'The light'. I have been listening to it everday for the past 2 weeks. Actually I haven't listened to it today...

That's it!

The week that was...

Okay I'm gonna start doing a weekly round up here, sometimes I just don't have time to do posts every day.

  1. Discovered a new favourite song on 'As I am' (Alicia's new album) it's call I NEED YOU!!!
  2. South Africa's first Black Springboks (national rugby team) coach, Peter de Villiers, announced on Wednesday.
  3. Decided to take a month off (can't really say more than that at this stage)
  4. Bought Kanyes' CD... I know I said I would do it last year already, but life got in the way.
  5. Dad thought my little brother was a Satanist because he found HEAVY rock CD's and DVD's in his room. This was HILLARIOUS!!!
  6. Watched National Treasure: Book of secrets. Lots of fun!!
  7. Went out for Cosmo's and Sushi before the movie with my favourite girl (Marcee)
  8. Started working out the plan for my NPO (it's really exciting because I really want to do this)
  9. Worked on SONG ONE by myself... I'm meeting with Chris after the 21st because right now things are a little hectic.

That's it for last week :)
